4 Stars Pretty Spiffy!
So far I have worn these boots through 3 particularly monsoon-like days in Chicago, much to the relative pleasure of my new pants. The seals appear to be very good – I’ve noticed no puckering or splitting at all. These are close-fitting in the calf for me, but I have full calves. It is actually close-fitting enough that I wouldn’t wear them without pants (to disguise the slight bulge at the top). I am, however, able to fold over my pant leg and step into these boots with ease and they look fine.

Do order your normal shoe size, perhaps a half a size up. I wear 9.5s in dress/casual shoes, but 10s in sneakers. I got these in a 10 and they fit perfectly with a slightly thicker sock. I think that’s about right for lightly-lined rain boots, as these are.

My only (mild) complaint is that the buckle on one of the boots won’t stay buckled. Nothing a well-placed paper clip couldn’t handle, and I’m sure the problem would be non-existent with skinnier calves.

In all, these are irreverantly cute rain boots that I am happy to pull on when the skies here turn gray and dull. A cute, sunny little option for an otherwise drab selection of inclement weather outerwear.

Loved the boots, great fit, very comfortable. Can walk in them, can dance in them.

2 Stars Okay if you can’t afford anything else
The product was okay if you can’t afford anything else. You could the the “leather” was cheap. When you put it on and stood up, there were hard points under the soles of your feet. It felt as if you were standing on a pebble. I figured I would add another 25.00 dollars and buy boots from one of the stores that I know.

5 Stars Pull on Stretch boots!
These stretch boots are great for thin legs. I own them in Color: black, Size: 6.5

They are pull on boots that have stretchy flexible uppers.

In fact, the uppers are flexible and thin enough that you can fold them or roll them up (they don’t hold their shape when you’re not wearing them). This is great for storage and for packing them for travel!

Also, it means that the boots are not heavy/bulky – they are really light.

The material on the inside of the boots is comfortable and I think it helps the boots stay up. It is comfortable even against bare legs; I do not need to wear stockings with these boots.

I was a little disappointed that the boots don’t come up all the way to my knees. They still look great though. You can find out how high they’ll come up on your legs by measuring the shaft height against the inside of your leg, starting from your arch/instep.

The shaft height on the boots is about 14 inches (measured from the sole of the boot at the middle of the arch up the inside of the boot to the top of the shaft).

The base circumference of the boot (measured around the top of the shaft) is about 12 inches. The material is pretty stretchy though; I’d guess it can comfortably stretch to at least 14-15 inch circumference.

The heel height, as described, is about 2.5 inches.

1 Star Personally, I Wasn’t Satisfied
Truthfully, there were only two things I liked about this product: the fact that it was made entirely out of synthetic materials and that stacked heel made these boots incredibly easy to walk in; furthermore, I am a vegetarian–not interested in buying leather or other animal produces–who does not wear high-heeled shoes. Ha ha!

I was disappointed to find that the rest of the boot did not suit me. I am a size five, so I ordered a size six. These fit my feet fine–despite the width of my feet–but I just did not like how they made my feet look. They made my feet look very long, which I think was a result of the shoe size and squared-off toe. I also did not like the stretchable quality of these shoes.

I personally prefer boots that can stand erect on their own. I think this should be mentioned in the advertisement. (It may, it may not be–I am not sure because I do not remember seeing it in the product description). Another thing I did not like about this boot was the length of the shaft.

I do not recommend this boot to you if you are looking for a true knee-high. The shaft is only about 14″ from the in-step. I am a short woman–just under 5′–and even these did not reach up to my knees.

To put it simply, I do not recommend these shoes–especially if you are looking for a sturdy knee-high.

5 Stars Soo much more than what I expected
The boots got on the promised time and were so much better than what I expected… I was a little worried about the sizing issue, since I’m an 8,5 and they only have 8 or 9. I bought the 9 and it fit perfectly, I don’t think the 8 would have fit.. So, they do not run big. The quality is just great! These are definetely $200 boots and buying them for $70 with free shipping was definetely a bargain.

These boots are very comfy but I do have issues with my socks wanting to fall down in them. They also do NOT run big. They run small. I wear an 8 to 8.5 but had to get the 9 because the 7 was tiny.

5 Stars Regarding Sizing

….if you wear a 8 or 8.5, then I’m assuming thats US Women sizing. So if you order a size 7 M US, its should about equal 8.5 Woman, although not exact. Oh the same hand, if you order 7 M (Australian/UK) then you would have been better off with it equaling roughly a 9 US women, more like 8.75 US W. They don’t run extra small, OR too large people. Shoes always will vary in fit based on material, style, and company, but the issue here looks be differences in conversions…

From my experience, my girlfriend wears 8 to 8.5 US W but has 5 M Stinger Hi’s, aka 7 US W (just ordered another pair)…they fit her snug but not too tight what so ever even though that is technically 1 size too small. Guess some of it is hit or miss, and preference. Look into the conversions and choose based on if you want your boots a little tighter or more room(half size) for pant tucking, etc. Remember, they start to form your foot and stretch some.

Anyway, I hear they’re great shoes overall. Enjoy!

3 Stars sizing is weird
Boots were pretty plush, but I normally wear a 9 1/2 and the size 9 was too small. The size 10 was too big so I couldn’t wear either. Was advised by seller that they are working on the sizing problems. Once they do that, I’m sure I’d purchase. Must say, however that the seller (Ruze Shoes) was extremely accommodating with exchanging and returning item, and was very prompt and courteous with communications. Would definitely purchase from this seller again.

2 Stars 2 pairs and both fell apart
We first got these boots for my [...]son for Easter and they split at the seam in about 1 month. Luckily this was just in time to have them replaced. Unfortunately after 6 months of wearing the replacements they too have multiple splits at the seams and several on top. However, I will say my son loves these boots and is disappointed that we can’t send them back to the Easter bunny again.

2 Stars Worn to death in 6 months.
Ok, my son wore them to death.

He also got the “Jr. Fire Fighter Suit with helmet”. That was a creat buy and 3 year of almost daily useage is still ok.

The boot start falling apart at the seams.

My 3 year old son loves fire fighters and fire engines and everything else associated with them. I knew that he of course wanted to be a fire fighter for Halloween so I got him these boots to go with his costume. He LOVES them!!! I like it because if he is going outside to play he can put them on himself and he is very happy to do it!! He does sometimes wear them when we go out somewhere. But he doesn’t raise too much fuss when we are going somewhere like church or out to eat and I want him to wear something else.

1 Star Look great/fall apart
These boots look great when you first get them, but they don’t last very long at all. It was only a few months into wearing them when I realized that they came apart. They don’t just come apart a little, they come apart almost completely, at least to the point of them being some flaps of rubber held together here and there.

They split pretty much everywhere the black meets the yellow. It’s a real shame because they look like there nice, but you can’t always judge a boot by its looks, I guess.

I bought two pairs of these for my daughters at Christmas. One was defective, and I sent it back. Before I got them to the post office, I received a new pair! They are great-looking, my daughters love them, and they’re so warm! I got two pairs of boots for almost what I would have paid for that “other” brand, and we all are please as punch! I highly recommend both Aussie Dog and Amazon, as they were both beyond helpful in making sure my daughter was happy with her boots. To get a new pair in about 12 hours is extraordinary! The sizing info on this boot is very confusing and I was at a loss as to what to do. What I found is that if you are a half size, you should order down in size. I am a 7.5 and ordered a size 8 which was a great IMMEDIATE fit. However, this boot is going to stretch ALOT so eventually my size 8 became too big – I have remedied that with thick socks (but they are still a little large). Then recently I ordered a size 7 in this boot and found that they initially fit snug but very soon after, stretch out to accommodate my foot very well.

I own both EMUs and UGGS and it is in my estimation that EMUs are superior to UGGs. I love this boot – it is thicker and warmer and the support in the sole is so comfortable. They are also less slippery in snow than UGGs and the pricing is perfect. I will wear these forever!

I love my EMU low stringer boots. They keep my feet warm and toasty. They are waterproof, I had previously purchased another brand of boot for winter and was very disapointed when I went in the snow and my feet were soaking wet in minutes. They are extremely comfortable and run wide. I usually have to buy a wide but these fit perfect right out of the box. I slso received them very quickly! I was concerned because they shipped from one of Amazon’s partners and not direct from Amazon but no need to worry. They were very prompt! Even though I had to pay shipping it still ended up being cheaper then the department store where I could not find my size anyway. I got the gray and the color is beautiful! Looks great with jeans or pants. Great Purchase!

3 Stars Lightweight use only…
I’ve had these now for a little over a year and am underwhelmed. I run field dogs and on rainy days need a boot to keep the feet dry as I’m out in the rain 4-5 times a day running the dogs. I used to have Wellies but they never quite fit right. I refused to spend that much on boots again and got these. Where I live it’s not constantly rainy so they get used hard for 2-3 days a month. They are disintegrating. They also run very large so buy the next size down. If you’re looking for a light duty rubber boot that you won’t use very hard then these are probably ideal. Expect anything more of them and they will disappoint. Considering the price I probably should have expected less. I’m going back to my wellies in a different size…

I wear an Adidas size Mens’ 11. I bought these in size 10M, a full size smaller, based on other reviews.

They are a good fit, especially with slightly heavier-weight socks. Could be that I prefer a tighter fit. I think that 9 M US would have been too small.

Otherwise, seem to be well constructed and now I walk through the rain/puddles with impunity, at least in regards to keeping my feet dry.

1 Star Junk…
I wore these boots for about 6 weeks before the lower rust colored sole separated from the black upper and they began to leak. Western Chief gave me no support citing funky and rigid customer service policies. Fortunately, Amazon gave me my money back. If you like wet feet, these are for you.

This boot is more for gardening than for general outside work because it doesn’t have a steel shank to protect the toes. It is holding up well from daily use.

I was looking for a cheap pair of waterproof boots that I could wear on a boat. These seemed good; only problem was they were WAY too big. I wear a size 10, ordered a size 10, but they were really more like a size 14. I tried stuffing the toes with cotton, but ended up returning them.
